What To Expect On An Everglades Offshore Fishing Charter
CobiaPlentiful in the winter months, the Cobia can be found lingering around underwater structures feeding on seasonal area bait.
GrouperWhether man-made or nature, Grouper like to stay near structures coming further nearshore in the cooler months.
TripletailWith a love for warm water, Tripletail can be found here year-round and is considered a deliciously fun catch.
PermitAn elusive and challenging species to catch, the Permit is known both for its enjoyable sport and desired taste.
Come join me for some of the best offshore fishing in the state. An offshore trip starts with a quick throw ofthe cast net to load the livewell full of “fish candy.” Then we are off to visit some of the very seldomly fished offshore structures that lie beneath the surface.

THE EXPERIENCE AND THE CATCH
We will fish anything from wrecks, reefs, hard bottom to the large offshore towers that we have off our coast. Depending on the time of year our targets will consist of Cobia, Grouper, Tripletail, and my personal favorite the Permit. I often describe a permit to my customers as a “Jack Crevalle on steroids.” There’s just is nothing like sighting a 35lb plus Permit swimming by the boat and throwing a crab in front of him and watching him eat it. This is followed by that wonderful sound of the drag singing its sweet tune.
